Submitting an Entry

Three copies of a published book should be submitted by the poet or publisher.

Three copies (hard copy, not electronic) of an unpublished collection should be submitted. Entries should be typed, may be double-sided, and must be on numbered pages. Poems previously published online or in magazines should be acknowledged.

Entries should be sent to:

      Scottish Poetry Library
      Crichton’s Close, Canongate

Please ensure that you also include:

an email address or a stamped self-addressed envelope for notification of receipt;

contact details for any subsequent notification of success in reaching the shortlist;

the completed Entry Form, downloadable here.

The Closing date for entries is 5pm on 2nd March 2016 for the 2016 Award.
